Small Arms - Forehand & Wadsworth of Worcester, Mass, Bulldog Revolver, circa late 1880s, 38 caliber, nickel-plated frame with exposed trigger, two piece bird head rosewood grips, 2.5 inch octagonal barrel with side stamped "Forehand & Wadsworth Worcester, Mass, U.S.," all matching serial numbers, s#460.
CONDITION:
Good action and timing; fine overall cosmetic condition, good bore with strong rifling, metal surfaces have a mottled gray patina with silvering at the high edges, spots of old light pitting, small dings and fine scratches are scattered about the revolver frame, numerous other dings on frame and barrel as well as scattered areas of oxide and pitting; trigger shows light oxide; excellent rosewood grips.
